"Surprizeme.net"
Surprizeme.net is a fictitious web shop and company where visitors can pick an amount they want to spend rather than a particular present. After selecting price, category, gender and age, shopping agents around world then go out and buy a random collection of stuff for the chosen amount of money, giving the user a nice surprise (receipts are provided).
The concept for this work plays on the rampant consumerism of the modern world, questioning why we feel obliged to buy presents because of their monetary value rather than just choosing presents people will like.
