"Phone Booth"
Phonebooth explores human voice interaction with software.
Audience members use the Phone Booth to have a ‘conversation with a pre-recorded message. The telephone’s software detects different amplitudes in the human voice to gauge an appropriate response, using tone to judge whether it should be happy, aggressive, passive, or sad.
Materials used: Handset from phone booth, Metal plates, Lamp, 24 Sound samples, Computer, Software.
